Keira Knightly.

This dress... I can't decide what it most reminds me of, is it a bowl of some sugary cereal, is it a science project, a image of a galaxy printed on a dress, or maybe it was a plain black dress and Keira got a little carsick on the way to the Laurence Olivier Awards...
However, no matter what the dress reminds me of, I do know that Keira Knightly's dress and hair are a total disaster.

I still don't understand how celebrities with armies of stylist and friends and whoever else are close to them, still come out in things that look like my 3rd grade science project! I think even Keira knew this dress was funny if you go by the smirk on her face. I mean come on Keira we know you can do better than this so...please do next time okay?

2010 Academy Award's Hits and Misses.

Oscar Winner Sandra Bullock in Marchesa

First let me say congratulations to Sandra Bullock for her first ever Oscar win! I was praying for her to win and WIN she did! For her incredible performance in the Blockbuster hit movie The Blind Side. This is a definite HIT! Sandra's beaded gown was the prettiest gown on the red carpet and I will take on anybody who disagrees with me. From the top of her sleek head to the soles of her feet she radiated beauty and elegance, demure was the perfect word to describe Sandra on Oscar night. This was my favorite dress of the night. What did you think of Mrs. Jesse James Marchesa gown?

2010 Academy Award's Hits and Misses.

Vera Farmiga in Marchesa.

Best Supporting Actress Nominee Vera Farmiga's dress is very hard for me to comment on. On one hand I am sort of loving the way this dress is different from the other dresses that were seen at the Oscars, and the color of the dress is simply stunning but on the other hand Vera kind of resembles a sea anemone, so it's hard for me to decide if the dress was a hit or a miss. What do you think?

2010 Academy Award's Hits and Misses.

South African beauty Charlize Theron in Dior Haute Couture.

Hmm. Well... What can I say about this dress... It is definitely different from the other dresses worn on Oscar night. One thing about Oscar night is that there is always someone on the red carpet who stands out and not always in a good way.On Sunday night Charlize Theron definitely won the award for the most interesting dress. The color of the dress I liked and the shape of the dress but those strategically place rosettes really kill any love I might have felt for this gown. Charlize didn't even really have to wear makeup because in that gown it pretty much guaranteed no one would be looking at her beautiful face. This is a miss for me. So my dear followers, what did you think of Miss Charlize Theron's rosettes?

2010 Academy Award's Hits and Misses.

Now let us move on to Cameron Diaz in a gown by Oscar De La Renta.

I thought that Cameron never looked better than she did on Sunday night. Cameron's flowing gown, bright red lip and glamorous hair make this one of my favorite red carpet looks ever! I loved the dress on Cameron's svelte body, and I'm normally not a big fan of glitter but I really liked this dress and Cameron pulled this look off brilliantly. What I mean is a lot of women try to pull off old Hollywood glamour and fail miserable but some women can truly nail it and I believe Cameron Diaz did that and more. What do you think

2010 Academy Award's Hits and Misses.

The 2010 Academy Awards, filled with actors and actresses bursting with nervous energy as they anxiously waited to see if they where the one going home with the one man every actor and actress hopes to claim as their own... the Oscar.

As for the red carpet fashions, the main theme was glitter and old Hollywood glamour... unfortunately Star Trek alumni Zoe Saldana didn't receive that memo and chose to wear this multi- colored Givenchy gown. Now, some loved this dress and gushed over it while others hated it! I am one of the latter ones I admit. To me this dress looks like it would be of better use at a car wash and not something to be worn to one of the biggest nights in Hollywood. Come on it's the Oscars! You don't want to look like a Muppet reject at the Academy Awards. I will say that I do love the bodice of the gown and that Zoe's makeup is beautiful... I just can't love the rest of this dress. What I want to know is, my dear followers, what did you think of Zoe's gown?
